The client, a fitness certification provider, needed an eLearning course on CPR and AED use, aimed at personal trainers. The company wanted a scalable, interactive solution that would:

• Teach life-saving skills clearly and confidently.
• Ensure learners could visualize and remember key steps.
• Elevate their brand with a professional, custom-designed course.

• Tight timeline: 3 weeks.
• No source content, no storyboard, and no budget for video assets.
• Required extensive use of Illustrator for all visuals.

A complete, self-paced eLearning course featuring:

• A unique, custom-illustrated Rise course with 30+ vector illustrations built in Illustrator.
• An interactive flowchart guiding learners step-by-step through AED use.
• Realistic, scenario-based questions that challenge decision-making.
• Bite-sized learning and interactive elements that simplify CPR and AED procedures.

To avoid overwhelming learners with dense text, I explored several design formats. Traditional flowcharts were either too simplistic or became visually cluttered. My solution: pop-up buttons embedded in the flowchart that reveal extra details on click, letting users control how much information they see. This made the tool more intuitive and user-friendly.
