Interactive AI Video Training
Overview:
This project aimed to create a realistic and engaging eLearning scenario to help healthcare professionals improve their conversations with patients about medication adherence. The training focused on tackling three key challenges:
- Equip healthcare providers with strategies to build patient trust.
- Demonstrate the importance of open dialogue to uncover the underlying causes of non-adherence.
- Show how to involve patients in collaborative decision-making.
Project Context
Inspired by a subject matter expert interview from the American Medical Association, this project was designed for busy healthcare professionals who navigate tight schedules and diverse patient needs. The training had to be concise, interactive, and to the point, providing practical tools in a limited amount of time.
Inputs at the Beginning

Takeaways
This project was a personal exploration into the potential of AI tools in eLearning development. It stemmed from a frustration with tools like Vyond, which can be costly, time-consuming, and often yield underwhelming visuals. Finding alternatives became a priority, and Runway emerged as a game-changer.
For comparison, a Vyond premium subscription costs $89 per month, while unlimited Runway generations for a month cost $95. The quality and capabilities of Runway made it a clear winner. Its ability to produce hyper-realistic, consistent visuals and seamless lip sync was astonishing, especially considering the infancy of this technology as of January 2025.
This project represents a humble attempt to push boundaries with the tools available today and highlights the exciting potential of AI in eLearning. But as AI advancements happen at an incredible pace, and there’s no doubt that better results will soon be possible.
